Shrouded in mystery, the white rhino is rumoured to have magical properties. No one has ever seen more than one white rhino at a time, and even then the witness' vision has been dim, lacking details of this great beast. This is the best sketch we could get hold of, and it could as well be an ordinary rhino in black and white. The wise village elder approaches me and says: "Catching the rhino will make your worldly problems go away, but finding it and releasing it will save your soul for eternity". I wonder what that means?

Ostriches are among the most mocked members of the animal kingdom. Who hasn't heard about the stupid bird putting its head in the sand when danger approaches? We will not resort to making fun of this stereotype. It is a very stupid bird, though. As you will find out, it is not always aware of its surroundings.

Excerpt from the fool's travel log, part 4: The lion's mane was originally thought to be a means of the male lion to look intimidating to hyenas and other lions. Dark manes were believed to be the sign of a healthier individual, whose offspring had greater chances of survival. However, new research in this field has revealed that the mane is the result of extensive listening to Heavy Metal music. The darker the mane, the more likely it is dyed.

Excerpt from the fool's travel log, part 3: The African Elephant differs from the Asian Elephant (also known as the Indian Elephant) mainly when it comes to the size of the ears. The ears are very important when the Elephant has eaten something very spicy and needs to cool down quickly, as the ears work as big fans. The Indian Elephant has become so accustomed to spicy food that it no longer needs the large cumbersome ears that you can still see on their African cousins.

Excerpt from the fool's travel log, part 2: Giraffa camelopardalis, or just Giraffe, is the tallest of all land-living animals, It's latin name came from it's resemblance to both leopards (the pattern) and camels. Did you know that an adult Giraffe sleeps less than 2 hours per day on average? Talk about being on the run! I wonder what they're running from when we're not here chasing them...
